Our proposal envisions the new municipal market as an open, welcoming public ground — a perimeter of lightweight structures that frames a central plaza, creating a continuous space for commerce, gathering, and everyday life. Stone, timber, and soft planting reinterpret the local vernacular through contemporary simplicity. The design blurs the boundary between inside and outside, allowing the market to operate as an urban living room: porous, accessible, and active throughout the day.

The project reinterprets the historic stone building through a transparent and lightweight addition that frames a new public courtyard — a space of dialogue between the restored heritage and contemporary architecture, between memory and present life.
