One connection point “Open Space”

A library is a space for all human beings on earth, a space that each one has the right t occupy for itself. Casablanca is a city with multinational character and different nations, and a library is a place of knowledge and understanding were is citizens can exchange ideas and communicate essentially.

Similar to the Arabic market at the Old Medina the library is like an open space that invites you and inspires you to express freely.

Also, it is a city overbuild and crowded, so a transparent-open space seems like an oasis. Our goal for this project was to create an open space literally and figuratively. Open to the city, open to the individual, open to new ideas, open to discussion, open to sight, open to the public, open to the university but most importantly to open-minded people, unlike the cruel bombing minds.
