Located on a hillside in Vlorë, Albania, Meteora is conceived as a solid, monolithic volume emerging from the surrounding landscape. Its continuous outer envelope is sculpted through carefully positioned incisions and voids, revealing the individual residences while creating sheltered balconies and transitional spaces between interior and exterior.

At the heart of the building, a large planted atrium extends vertically through all levels, bringing natural light and ventilation deep into the volume. Open walkways and circulation cores overlook this communal space, encouraging visual connections and interaction among residents.

The material palette reinforces the project’s geological character: deeply hammered concrete defines the façade, polished concrete creates continuity across surfaces, and galvanized-steel elements introduce a subtle contrast. The building accommodates 124 residential units, including two penthouses with private pools and panoramic views towards the coastline
